HOW DO I SHARE THE EVENT WITH MY STUDENTS?

NOTE FOR EDUCATORS:
Educators please do NOT share your personal login details with your students, as it is individual to your account. Also please do NOT ask them to register directly on the website as they will be viewing the event through your shared screen.
HOW DO I ACCESS THE VIRTUAL SITE?
Once your are registered, click here to login. If you are a student, please get a link from your Teacher.
WHAT TIME ZONE WILL THE SESSIONS BE PRESENTED IN?
All sessions will be presented in Eastern Time (ET).
What browser should I use to watch the Summit?
Will the sessions be available on-demand after?
Yes, sessions will be available for viewing a few days after the Virtual Event until Thursday, October 5, 2023.
How do I watch a session?
Make sure you’re logged in, go to the Agenda page and select Watch Live.
To watch On Demand sessions make sure you’re logged in, go to the Agenda page and click on the title of each session you are interested in viewing. Add it to your agenda by clicking on the “Register and Add to my Agenda” button. You can then watch by clicking the play button.
Do I have to be registered to watch each session?
You must already be registered for the event in order to watch sessions. You may add the sessions you want to your agenda if you wish.
Can I add notes while watching?
Yes, go for it! When in a session, click the myNotes tab, type and export them later on.
What is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation?
National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a day for all Canadians to commemorate the history and legacy of the residential school system. It’s a day to honour the resilience, dignity and strength of survivors and intergenerational survivors and remember the children who never came home.
